I use photography to examine and to escape and in this series of pictures I am revealing the landscape of the office as I experience it. This landscape is silent, nearly empty – though there are a few office workers doing nothing. They are trapped in an ordinary life(the office) but they appear to be dreaming of something more exciting, another life which they are powerless to enter.

I have always been a day dreamer and a would-be escaper. This series of pictures stems from this desire to escape which preoccupies me persistently.
